A Pillow Song
“A Pillow Song” is a farewell duet taking the night as a metaphor. In every sleepless night, they walk in between reality and fantasy, looking for the most profound soberness of the self. Holding each other's hand, they feel the chaos and the uncertainties of life.“A Pillow Song” is a whisper in the ear, a reflection on the wall, a light that penetrates through a tiny gap.

Copy for Go Around
Compared to drop tower, I find the roller coaster more enthralling.
Traveling straight is monotonous; it’s rapid, direct, without turning or obscuring, making it steady and safe indeed. But I crave surprises.
Instead of“slow and steady wins the race”, I prefer the "going around might be even faster" approach. Some places can't be reached by traveling straight. Take a detour and take the convoluted route, appreciate slanted trees and late-blooming flowers along the way.

Stereotyped behavior refers to long-term, restless, and repetitive actions that usually manifest themselves in people and captive animals. When the collective, immense uncertainties are left without a receptacle, the body becomes the buoy for maintaining a sense of awareness.

Co-conscious
Same body but different limbs... As we find the balance in symbiosis, the difference in personality, the formation of self-identity, the awareness and understanding of one another’s existence, cause it to split.

It is not true
“It is not true” explores the complexity of human nature. More often than not, we choose to hide our true selves in order to gain the validation of others. We hide because of the fear, entanglement, conflict, and contradiction we feel towards ourselves...In the process, it is a constant conversation with ourselves as we attempt to find our place in society.

Who’s she ?
I think we should examine ourselves with more honesty to appreciate our inner needs and true desires. The process does not involve the rational analysis of the brain but feelings of the heart.
The choreography “Who’s she?” explores the cycle of relationships. We face numerous encounters and departures in our lives, each of them forms a unique cycle of relationship. And no matter what is left from each cycle, they all endow us with influences and feelings. The work combines the elements of social dance with contemporary choreography by exploring the various movements in social dance, I can think about the shapes and forms of different relationships, feel the flow of love and trust, as well as how it may be changed through conflict, dependency, and growth. Through these concepts, the piece embodies the cycle of relationships in our lives that is constantly being repeated.

When we separate, as though waking out of a dream
White is the only color in this world. The color that paints over our world. A northern snow-covered amusement park that we yearn for.
The eternal night is like a never-ending dream, where we run bare feet in the snow. Sometimes, the snow covers our path before us, even makes us lose sight of each other, and we can only feel the presence of each other’s hands. The warmth that keeps us going, the whiteness that surrounds us with a familiar scent, the path that we walked together; one day, when we depart from each other’s lives and when the white snow covers our memories, the north will snow no more.

The Wild Rose
“The Wild Rose” is a conversation between women and me, depicting my feelings after spending a long time with women. Like flowers, women are vibrant yet fragile; the work portrays admirations towards women, who are intelligent, elegant, charming, and unpredictable beings. A comparison between people and flowers is conflicting, vague, and crystal clear at the same time, and engenders a complementary relationship. Additionally, an illusion of a woman’s solitary reflection by the window is created. One can see the proud yet aloof silhouette reflecting off the window, those colorful petals, prickly stems, as well as those that are visible and invisible to you, albeit as vacuous as a puff of smoke, their tenacious existence is very real indeed.
